Porteur de lumière is my final project for my bachelor's at NAD. I had the chance to work as a modeling and texturing artist for the many props and the architectural kit. I was also the lighting artist of the project. The project was supervised by Sébastien Primeau.
Our game is a poetic and contemplative walking simulator in which the protagonist, a nostalgic old lamp lighter, carries out his routine journey through the abandoned citadel. Each night, under a starry sky, the old man lights up the torches, remembering his past in dreamy painting form. Soon the night will come where he will stray from his path, guided by the long awaited star.
Project made in Unreal Engine 5.2. I used Maya, Zbrush, Subtance Painter, Substance Designer, Photoshop to make my assets.
